This comprehensive meeting will make sure not a single detail is left unturned for your floral decor, whether that be from the ribbon on the boutonnieres or the floral types in each of the centerpieces your guests will find intriguing.
What to prepare for a floral consultation meeting?
For most couples, floral is one of the most important design aspects of their wedding and inspiration for just about any wedding style is abundant across the internet. While this inspiration is a great starting point, it can become overwhelming and sometimes needs to be customized to fit your wedding design. Here are a few steps to prepare for your complimentary floral consultation meeting with Meraki Botanical Design after booking with us:

Create a Pinterest board dedicated to your overall wedding vision. Try to keep this board as cohesive as possible with style and be intentional in your pinning. For example, try to avoid mixing bohemian styles with ultra-modern black and white designs.
Once you have a Pinterest board going, share your board with Meraki Botanical Designs (and anyone else who you might want to share your wedding vision with). Try to keep detailed notes about what you like or even dislike from each pin. You can do this mentally or Pinterest actually has added a feature to create a note to your shared board!
Generate a list of bridal party, parents, grandparents, and all the potential places you could want floral touches. Meraki Botanical Designs goes through each space and group of people meticulously, but having these lists prepared will hopefully help in the decision making and design processes.
It’s finally time for the consultation! These floral consultation meetings can take anywhere from 90-120 minutes, but each minute is well worth it. No detail will be left unturned, as you will go through floral types all the way down to what color ribbon you want wrapped around your bouquet. Don’t worry if you are early in your planning process and just trying to get a feel for what is possible, Meraki Botanical Designs can give you an array of advice and guide you through all the possibilities!
After your floral consultation, Meraki Botanical Designs will send over a proposal that goes over all the details discussed. Keep in mind, pricing in the floral industry can fluctuate due to a variety of factors, but Meraki Botanical Designs prides herself on being transparent in pricing and is an expert at giving our couples the best price forecasting possible.
