With direct access to all of our surrounding beaches, we also offer beachside ceremonies to our couples. Although many brides have shared their lifelong passion to get married on the beach, keep in mind that these areas are accessible to the public and cannot be blocked off entirely.
Weddings at Havasu Springs Resort operate rather smoothly, as we have hosted over 300 at our venue! You know what they say, practice makes perfect! A standard wedding at Havasu Springs Resort includes a ceremony at The Pointe and a reception in The Harbor Room. The path leading to the top of The Pointe is marked by its soft red clay sand and wraps up to the top of the cliff. Once atop the ridge, our brides and bridal party remain hidden inside our bridal staging tent. Covered on all four sides, none of your guests will see you prior to the ceremony! The paved aisle gently guides down a small set of stairs and directs to the tip of The Pointe, where you will stand to be wed.
Once you’re officially married in front of those most important to you, they will then head down to your reception to get the celebration started! The Harbor Room joins the modern and classical with its industrial-inspired design. Imagine this, steamed, floor-length linens resting atop perfectly set tables with your selection of napkins and silverware. Large windows brace the room and guarantee vast waterfront views from the balcony. Votive-lit cocktail tables await on the patio, for your guests to enjoy the quiet bliss granted by the evening. The music radiates in the room, energizing the crowd and the drinks flowing will allow the party to continue on. As the reception comes to a close and the number of guests begins to dwindle, we will kindly pack up any remaining food then send you off into the night. As long as you’re staying on property, the longest time that it will take you to arrive at the ceremony and reception spaces is five minutes.
To ensure that all of our couples can reap the benefit of this luxury, we issue them a complimentary room for the night before and the night of their wedding. This helps limit any issues in conducting their ceremony and reception. Also, let’s be honest, the worst part of every wedding is when the night falls and the party inevitably ends. Hosting your wedding with us, allows for you to continue your festivities and keep the fun going throughout the weekend.
Weekend wedding celebrations have become super trendy in recent years, especially in the case of resort-style weddings. With 44 motel rooms scattered across the property and over a hundred RV spaces, all of your friends and family can certainly stay overnight at the resort! In booking with us, you’ll even be issued a room block with 10 rooms to guarantee your closest people a place to crash. The appeal of our venue simply lies in the fact that your wedding can evolve from a singular event to a vacation of a lifetime.
In the case of a weekend, our Marina Motel is perfect for those who wish to be as close to the lake as possible. Located directly above the restaurant and an easy three minute stride to the boat docks, Marina Motel is great for any short-term stays. A majority of the rooms in the motel are fitted with two queen beds and a restroom. However, there are two suite-style rooms based inside Marina, which is great for those with small families or those who require just a bit more space!
If you want to have a pool party with family and friends the night prior to your wedding, then we definitely recommend checking out Poolside Motel. As the largest motel on property that surrounds the pool, Poolside is great for couples with large bridal parties or families. Plus, it never hurts to be close to your peeps when conducting such a special day! Everyone staying at the resort is welcome to use the pool, but a lot of our couples even choose to utilize our pool area for their rehearsal dinners! It’s certainly perfect for those who are craving something a little bit more relaxed and informal.
In the hustle and bustle of getting ready for your wedding day, space is definitely a priority! Have you ever tried to get ready in a room full of five or more people? It’s definitely not for the faint of heart! Well, thankfully we do offer a variety of suites! Vista Apartments are exclusively suite-style rooms and are great for those with large bridal parties. It is also nice that the Vista Apartments are a staircase away from the Harbor Room! This is super convenient for our couples because at the end of reception, there’s no stress in making it to bed for the night.
If you’re thinking about bringing your fur babies to partake in your wedding, then I have good news for you. We are proudly a pet-friendly resort and even have an entire motel designated to our animal lovers. Located across the highway from the entrance to our property, Lakeview Motel provides our couples a more private and quiet stay. With a majority of the rooms newly renovated, guests can receive a retro-style experience, alongside a modern twist!
Hangry or Thirsty?
In the case of meals, we’ve got you covered! With our on-site restaurant, your hunger can be treated without the need to even leave the resort. The Springs Dining happily serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with select menus for each. Throughout the week, they also offer daily specials such as Tuesday Prime Rib, Cabo Wabo Wednesday, Thursday BBQ Ribs, Fish Fry Friday, and Irish Sunday! These weekly specials can be great for those looking to save on meal costs, especially for couples who are looking to be wed during the week. The Springs Dining also boasts a full regular bar and bourbon bar, to cure any of those thirst-filled needs.
The general manager of The Springs Dining, Norm Nowak, also serves as our food and beverage director! In the case of your wedding catering, he will work directly with you to aid in the process of choosing your appetizer, beverage, and dinner selections. After your complimentary food tasting, Norm will remain in contact with you to distinguish any pricing adjustments or changes in selections. Unlike other venues, after you’ve finalized your food selections and submitted your first payment, then you “lock-in” your pricing for food and beverage. Almost on an annual basis, we’ve seen inflation in the cost of food items and grocery. However, we believe that it is entirely fair to honor the food and beverage cost at the time of accepting the food and beverage proposal.
The Outer Harbor is our dive bar, miniature arcade, and convenience store, combined as one and located directly beneath The Harbor Room. Easily accessible via our complimentary boat slips and docks, the Outer Harbor serves home to gas pumps as well. With a split-style floor plan, the signature bar operates on one side of the structure, the mini arcade rests in the center, and our store on the other half. As a staple to the resort, The Outer Harbor welcomes everyone to enjoy a drink, grab an ice cream, and play some video games. Also, we are happy to say that the Outer Harbor Bar and Store is also coupled with a beachy-inspired boutique! Springs Styles & Swag can fit you with everything needed when hitting the water for the weekend. Swimwear, sandals, sunglasses, sunblock, towels, beach bags, shirts–you name it and they got it! As one of the hotspots of the resort, you should definitely come check it out!
Believe it or not, The Outer Harbor saw its first wedding in the Spring of 2024! It’s no secret that Havasu rarely rains, but when it does, it storms. Unfortunately, on the day of this wedding our couple was met with an unexpected monsoon. For the sake of the groom, groomsmen, and guests, we advised everyone to wait the storm out in The Outer Harbor. The bride and her bridesmaids stayed dry in The Harbor Room while the thunder and lightning struck, in hopes that the storm would leave as quickly as it came in. Unfortunately, the rain continued to pour and after an hour of waiting, the bride decided to make a plan of action. As she had grown up visiting Havasu Springs Resort and had spent most of her fond memories in The Outer Harbor, the bride decided what better place to be married than the one in which all of her family and friends were already at. Typically in the case of inclement weather, we would opt to flip the reception space to accommodate the ceremony and then return it to its original look. However, we had so much fun in executing this very unique and circumstantial ceremony. Honestly, it felt like a scene straight from a movie!
Family Owned & Ran
As a family-owned resort, we care deeply about our guests and the quality of their experiences. Thankfully, the owners of the resort are very involved with our weddings and even offer services to accommodate our couples! When it comes to vendors, we do allow our couples to bring in their own people for desserts, photography, and music. However, for those who wish to hire a professional floral designer or wedding planner, they are required to use our exclusive vendors. Meraki Botanical Designs is owned and operated by Melanie Burnett, who is also co-owner of the venue. As an accredited member of the American Institute of Floral Designer and certified under AIFD, Melanie has dedicated herself to her craft and presents her clients with the most beautiful creations. Nichole Burnett, who is owner of Posh Planning & Event Co. is also part owner of the venue. From wedding management to full planning, Posh Planning & Event Co. offers a variety of wedding planning packages.
Hitting The Water
As our property is surrounded by beautiful scenes of water, it should go without mention that our couples love the lake! For those who partake in watersports like jet skiing or boating, Havasu Springs Resort is a great place to be wed, especially during the warm months! We are proud to say that we have eight docks scattered across our property with approximately 180 slips available for rent. If you don’t have any water vehicles, then you should definitely check out our paddle board and kayak rentals down at The Outer Harbor! Our couples love the opportunity to enjoy the water alongside friends and family, with such proximity to the lake.
Golf it Up
Do you enjoy playing golf? If so, wouldn’t it be so much fun to hit a few balls on the morning of your wedding before saying, “I do?” Here at Havasu Springs Resort, we provide all of our guests with the opportunity to tackle our 9 hole, 3-par golf course. Although it is a walking course, we happily loan out pull-carts to our guests so that they can face the challenge of playing a rather engaging round of golf! We do not issue tee times and our rates are very economical, making it quite simple to register for some good old-fashioned fun. Something important that I should note is that our course is closed for reseeding in the months of March and October. So if you find yourself with a wedding date that falls within these months but you’d still like to golf, be sure to make outside arrangements!
